EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
The B'nai B'rith Anti-Defamation Commission (ADC), a national organisation which seeks to combat racism and antisemitism and promote positive community relations, wishes to appoint a full-time Executive Director for its Melbourne Office. The successful applicant will report directly to the ADC Board and be responsible for the management in all aspects of the organisation's activities.
The successful applicant must have extensive knowledge of Jewish current affairs, highly developed written, analytical and computer skills, a demonstrated competence to engage with the media, politicians and leaders of other ethnic and religious communities; the capacity to strengthen the ADC'S financial support base and the ability to motivate staff and a large number of volunteers.
An appropriate salary will be negotiated. Some travel will be required, as will participation in some programs and events which could be overnight or late into the evening.
